This building expansion project was the first phase of a formulation development process facility and an office administration expansion to the existing Building 8, on Amgen's Thousand Oaks Campus.

The 2-story, 14.000 square-foot structure was constructed adjacent to an existing 32,000 square-foot single-story laboratory building.

The project area included a series of process rooms for production of small batches of tablets for drug discovery. The facility was constructed as a separate building to allow future expansion and isolation of the HVAC and laboratory utilities from adjacent spaces.
