and localized isolation for future upgrades and modifications.
Chilled water is regulated to minimize secondary temperature
fluctuations. Steam pressure reduction stations, multiple
steam-to-hot-water converters. and variable frequency distribution
and circulation pumps provide this lab facility with heating
hot water, domestic hot and cold water, and industrial hot
and cold water. RO/DI water is provided by a resident storage
tank, pump station and filtration units with UV lights.
Motor control centers and BMS interface panels located in
the mechanical room provide reliable automatic control and
monitoring of all systems, including central vacuum. The
entire mechanical room layout was carefully designed to
minimize piping crossovers, providing easy access to service
personnel and Alarm Response Teams. This room was highly
commended by installing contractors and final users alike
for its extremely friendly and serviceable layout.
